Ministers say that they teach charity. That is natural. They live on hand-outs. All beggars teach that others should give.

And the most funny part of it is that the bible you dont see that christian receive the order to keep the laws given in the old testament, including tithing in Ephessians 2:15 said that we are not under the laws (including tithing) and that they are over you have to give contribution with your free will and with love whatever you are able to do, but 10 % plus gift is not supported in the bible, every time they try to prove you they use the old testament, and also tell that if you dont give 10% god didnot bless you is like a bussiness but the god i know is love 1 John 4:8

Wasn't tithing (a tenth part) done away with after the Mosaic Law covenant arrangement ended. Was it primarily for the the support of Israel's temple and priesthood. Nowhere in the Christian scriptures were first century Christians commanded to pay tithes. The act of giving to the ministry was not compulsory but to be done freely as one was able. 2Co 8:12; 9:7. The apostle Paul set an example in working with his own hands. Ac 18:3; 1Th 2:9; 1Ti 5:17,18.

Join a church with an unpaid ministry. In the past, ministers worked for a living and preached on Sundays.

heres the deal about Tithing,
The Lord takes it VERY seriously,
You cannot be equal in Heavenly things until you are equal in Earthly things (Tithing reasongs),
And if you pay your Tithing, you wont be burned at Jesus Christ's Second Comming.

Yes, i'm Mormon - In case you couldnt notice.
You should try it, too!

You know, I have no problem with offerings and tithing. What aggravates me is that every sunday morning, there is a 5 minute sermon about it. I am getting sick of that aspect myself.

" Bring the whole tithe into the storehouse, that there may be food in my house. Test me in this," says the Lord Almighty, " and see if I will not throw open the floodgates of heaven and pour out so much blessing that you will not have room enough for it." - Malachi 3:10

Well when you realize that everything you own is truly God's, it is not hard to tithe. I'd rather people not tithe than tithe by force or guilt.

Religion is a big scam, and tithing is a way to siphon the wealth of the brainwashed into the bank accounts of the scammers.,

This idea of born again comes from a John 3:3 - 7.
What ALL Christians completely ignore is John 3:7 Marvel not that I said unto thee, Ye must be born again.

Marvel not??? HELL CHRISTIANS DON'T JUST MARVEL AT IT THEY OBSESS ON IT! ENTIRE DENOMINATIONS ARE BASED ON IT!!

That is very disrespectful. My church has several ministers and I am happy to help them to get food on their family's table. They have an education and they are helping people and not only spiritually.

I am happy to give money to my church. I trust them. I only wish I could give more. My opinion is that we can do much better with 90% of our income with Gd's blessings than with 100% of our income of our own.

Do not give if our heart is not right. God does not need your money, He wants your heart. And when you give your heart to God, you will open up your wallet. : )
