Exactly - God does exist.
God is an awesome God.
He created us in His image.
He loves you David, and He gave His Son Jesus to pay the penalty for sin in my life and in yours.
Psalm 139:13-15
For You formed my inward parts
You wove me in my mother's womb
I will give thanks to You
for I am fearfully and wonderfully made
Wonderful are Your works
And my soul knows it very well.
My frame was not hidden from You.
When I was made in secret,
And skillfully wrought in the depths of the earth.
Read and study the bible, it is the infallible Word of God, it is true and full of prophecy. To date the bible prophecy that has been fulfilled has been 100% accurate. Does that cause you to want to know more about God? I hope so. The answers to your questions are there. If you don't have a bible, there is one at your local library.
