Jesus was the ultimate non - hypocrite. I follow Him as best I can.
You have been burned by the failings of people, but there are some who have been disappointed in you. Jesus taught to give people the same leeway you would want for yourself. Think of the ideals you have for yourself, then imagine if you were slammed for every time you acted less than that.
I think with Christians it seems more hypocritical because Jesus' teachings are so perfect. Basically, Christians set the expectations higher, but our success rate isn't all ways there.

I don't know how anyone can even determine who is the biggest hypocrite in the first place. Is there a benchmark, some kind of scientific studies, statistics etc where you can rate adherents of all main religions to determine who ranked highest? Instead of trying to find out who or where are the hypocrites, it is better to examine ourselves to see if we are also hypocrites. Hypocrites are hypocrites, regardless of their sizes!

They are probably just as hypocritical as everyone else,
I think it's a very rare person who tries to be consistant in absolutely everything.
How can you and remain sane? You can't do it.
...though it's true, the more you believe in fervently, the more you have to keep up with.
But that can go for some atheists and some agnostics, some Jews, you get the idea, the more opinions, passionate beliefs, the more you paint yourself into a corner with your own behavior and actions.

at the beginning, not all Christians may well be lumped into that type. a pair of three hundred and sixty 5 days in the past i might have performed the comparable component, even however after talking to an stunning style of Christians over this previous 3 hundred and sixty 5 days I surely have come to comprehend that not all Christians think of may well be lumped into that type. there are countless Christians, myself now coated, that somewhat attempt to stay with Christs examples, by potential of preaching love and kindness. Secondly, Acts 10:9 - 15 solutions your question approximately ingesting animals. in case you're blind to the area, it is what has got here approximately: Peter is praying whilst he realizes he's hungry, in his prayer he see Heaven open up and a super blanket desecends to the Earth by potential of its cour corners, upon the sheet are all of forms of animals. "Then a voice informed him, 'upward thrust up, Peter. Kill and consume.' 'surely not, Lord!" Ptere spoke back. "I surely have on no account eaten something impure or unclean." The voice spoke to him a 2d time, "do not call something impures that God has made sparkling." Acts 10:13-15. Thirdly, you do not could apologioze. you're good! Jesus spent lots of his time coaching us to love our pals and to be good human beings. regrettably in todays society too many human beings have faith what they are informed to have faith particularly of finding for the solutions themselves. If extra human beings Christians have been to be sure and unedrstand the Bible i think the international may well be a much extra non violent place. ultimately, to respond to your considerable question, i think of that a huge sect of people who call themselves christians are hypocritical because of the fact they don't have a company information of the Bible. They lack the interest to be sure and detect the reality approximately Jesus's teachings. particularly they take place to Church on Sunday and take in each and every thing the Church says because of the fact it fairly is the better approach of being a Christian.

I totally agree! I have found some christians (Little c) to be filled with hypocrisy. But, then again I have known some wonderful and saintly Christians (Big C). The term Christian, (People who do as Christ would do), was first used by the Romans to describe the "People of the Way". I agree that there are many people who misuse the term Christian when referring to themselves. That is part of "Not taking his name in vain" or, using it in manner that would render it of no value. You cannot claim for yourself a label which does not apply. Those who truly strive to emulate Christ, can properly call themselves Christian. But, Paul tells us to keep out eyes upon Christ, and not one another. Seek out a true body of believers, and, surround yourself with those who truly wish to serve God. We are responsible for where we go, and, not from where we came. I lived a life as a violent and vulgar, drunken biker, and, I have only know peace, since I have surrendered my life to Jesus Christ.
Good luck, and God Bless!

Oh definitely there are hypocrites everywhere. Not just people who go to this church or that church. But the thing that gets me, is why Christians are always the first condemned. I myself believe in Jesus' greatest commandment to LOVE ONE ANOTHER. And for me that means everyone. Good day.

Christians try to live their lives based on biblical principles. We make mistakes like everybody else, but we know that we can always turn to God for forgiveness. The secular world see's our mistakes and lable us as hypocrites.

I find hypocrisy to be pretty much evenly dispersed across all groups. religion is easy to pick on but it runs through humanity like a disease. Its a social mask thing where everyone is afraid to be themselves, flaws and all.
