I have been using:
Kwik Sew Pattern 3431 - http://www.kwiksew.com/Patterns/P3412_3433/3431.cfm
Simplicity 3939 - http://www.simplicity.com/dv1_v4.cfm?design=3939
Simplicity 4316 - http://www.simplicity.com/dv1_v4.cfm?design=4316

As well as altering newborn to 3 month old baby clothing

I am looking for a new pattern/s to attempt but would like ones that people have actually tried. It you have links with pictures that would be most helpful.

The outfits need to fit toy breeds - here are ones I have made so far http://www.flickr.com/photos/42743076@N00/

Looking for fresh new ideas

Your clothes are precious !!What a cute idea and I bet it is fun too.I need "Belly bands"Fancy ones for a 6# male Pomeranian.I raise Poms and He is one of "The Ladies Man"So just when I get everything all cleaned up he starts all over again marking his spots. There should be nothing to it .Do you know what I am talking about???I have cut the toes out of mens soft insulated socks but they are so tacky! It would be nice to have a band with Velcro for off and on and some Fancy material.Let me know if you know what I am talking about.Click on my name and e-mail me about this idea.Thank you Carolyn

When my dog was a puppy I made him a coat out of a baby bib too! I just added a piece of elastic. I also alter baby clothing, although my dog wears a 18mo.

The only patterns I've seen are those in Simplicty, McCalls and the other pattern books at JoAnn.

For the poster above who is intrested in belly bands. They are pretty simple to make-just a rectangle of fabric (usually with cotton batting in the center for absorbency) and velcro. I did know one breeder who used maxi pads in her belly bands for her male dogs-easy to change, just throw away and replace with a new one!

i like the birds theory! in any different case a popular zombie may well be super, in basic terms use some previous clothing, stain them up slightly then use white glue and makeup for the zombie look itself. once you're reachable at stitching you're able to make a 'promenade' gown out of an previous sheet, slightly dye etc. or possibly a tub curtain. If not, and you surely need the promenade direction, try a 2d hand shop.
