The problem here is perception. What is evil to one person is good to another. Just because we think murder is evil doesn't mean that some other society thinks murder is evil, too. So, in all reality, evil is born out of the mind.

Our desire to get rid of evil is perhaps our altruistic side wanting the world to be a better place, or perhaps our side that says everyone should be like ourself.

well i believe that Evil was not born, because God was always good and perfect, so for something to be positive, there has to be something to base that off of-if you get what i mean.... so for God to be Holy, Evil had to exist... and if God has existed forever, then evil has existed forever... it just entered the heart of Lucifer, and thus controlled him and "made" him the devil-thus the devil was "born"

Honey, you are over thinking this one, but don't feel bad lots of people do. The most basic and simple reason for evil in the world is that without it we would have nothing to compare good to.

The idea that evil is some external influence corrupting people and leading to deviance is a very archaic one indeed.

to answer this one must understand the duality of Gods nature and the duality of mans nature

If man is created in Gods image he must experience the same emotion as God if man is born with the ability to commit evil acts then it is complete ignornace to assume that this nature wasn't inherently passed on to him by the creator

Evil is the concept of knowing the difference and boeying God law.
The choice is yours, but when God seen that it wasn;t working so great, he sent Jesus down to forgive you of your Sins and this way, he wouldn't have to wipe out an entire nation again cause it wouldn't of been with rain this time it would of been with fire.
