I really want to dip something in chocolate to give as a gift. Which one should I make? Thanks you guys!!!!!!!!!

Well, no I guess not watermelons dipped in chocolate..... but I'd like to give something dipped in chocolate as a gift. Ideas???

Strawberries are a classic and seem like the best choice of the three. Watermelon doesn't sound like it'd work well with the chocolate as it's mostly water and would make for an awkward consistency. Apples brown after being exposed to air for a certain amount of time and so wouldn't be so pretty unless you mean to dip the entire apple. (In which case it'd just be easier to buy a chocolate-dipped and candy-covered apple from a really good candy store) Try bananas or maybe other berries. Blueberries and raspberries would be fun.

Strawberries are the best dipped in chocolate but you could do candied or caramel apples - the internet has a plethora of recipes on how to make apples for gifts. You could also do a fruit basket w/ pears, apples, oranges, etc and maybe add some little bags of flavored nuts. Watermelon as a gift? Not such a cute idea.

hey, lemme tell ya that strawberries and pineapple both dipped in chocolate are great. Every time I get the chance to go to the smorgasbord I always save room for strawberries and pineapples and dip them in the fudge sauce for ice cream. It's better than the Nectar of the Gods!!!

Ummm....Strawberries!!!! Also, banana slices dipped in chocolate. And, someone just told me today about going to a baby shower and they served what appeared to be strawberry cake rolled into balls, with a popsicle-like stick stuck into it. Some had been dipped into regular chocolate, some in white chocolate, place on wax paper, and into the fridge til served. She said they were delicious.

The new thing is chocolate covered grapes, but you can dip pretzels, potato chips, graham crackers, giant marshmellows, sugar cookies, plain rice krispy bars, double stuffed oreo's
cherries and the small brach's carmels. Now I have a sweet tooth and got to find some chocolate in this house. Have fun dipping.
