Yes, I think Anna Nicole Smith died from a broken heart.
If my son had died like that, then I would have been on anti-depressants and my regular meds and the combination of all that and severe shock and depression would have killed me too.
It would have been too much for me to bear. I would have sunk into a severe depression and NOTHING would have ever brought me out of it.
Plus she just had a baby, that puts a lot of stress on the body too.
It took me about a year after I had each child to start feeling like my old self again.
So, to answer your question--yes and even with meds they could die too.
But not always.

Yes it is possible.
People with emotional disturbance that is severe and untreated can have such problems with stress, anxiety or depression that it leads them to make unhealthy decisions about their self-care.
These decisions can kill them, even if they aren't intentionally trying to kill themselves. Some examples: drug use to self-medicate that results in accidental overdose, anorexia due to anxiety or depression (not for looks), improper hygeine, severe lack of exercise, etc.
Heck, a lot of folks who have depression complain of "blank outs" where they suddenly realize chunks of time have passed and they don't know what was just said or how they got to where they were driving. Actions (like driving) undertaken in this state are dangerous and can kill you.

Well I think that it could lead to depression, which triggers sucidal thoughts... so i guess a person can die from emotional problems if it becomes overwhelming for them.

Hello,
it is true that when we are not emotionally happy, lot of health problems surface. But I want to tell you one thing if we keep control over our emotions, we'll be more happy. why should we depend on somebody else's feelings towards us and let ourselves die. we get only one life to live, so live it happily and completely. start loving yourselves from today. don't care about others feelings. if you don't love yourselves who'll love you. be happy. don't think about such stupid things.
