Just want to do this tonight, no time to put them in tomorrow morning because I'm still new with contacts and it takes a while.

i'm going against the norm there and i am going to say yes you can, but if you do, it will be uncomfortable in the morning for a little and it might be red, you are going to need drops and keep blinking, also, there may be extra eye crusties. i had a friend that would always wake up with those because she slept in hers, she always has and always will. i remember when i was new at it too and everyone kept saying never ever, the doctor told me all sorts of things, yeah they are risks but its up to you. i've been wearing contacts for 5 years now and prolly only kept them in a few times. its too uncomfortable for me, but to each his own. just don't make it a habit of it and since you are new, try when you have time and always have plenty of solution and be patient, you'll be a pro in no time! best of luck!

this may be just me, but i sleep with mine, and the doctor said to take them out every night because oxygen can't get to your cornea and iris so your eye tries to develope a blood vessel to the cornea and that can mess up your vision permantly. I have had them for about 4 years and i pretty much never take them out. I have a good glasses-only weekend/week every now and then, but othe rthan that i just kind of forget they're in there. You could probably sleep with them in every now and then and be fine. My brother had some weird sort of eye problem for the same reason, but i don't know if it was too serious. I haven't had anything bad yet, but i wouldn't recommend doing what i do. Get some eye drops to moisturize them in the morning and every now and then slide your contact off your pupil then slide it back for some minor eye breathing. Also, your contact will last waaaay longer than 2 weeks. I think that's just a scheme for them to make more money. I'd say about a month or two, but you may have different contact than me. Doctors will all say what everyone else here has said, and they're probably right. Again, i wouldn't recommend every night for three months, sometimes is probably okay. Try to leave them out and go with glasses when you can such as on long weekends or days off. yeah.

I got my disposable contacts Saturday. I'm new at it too :)

But one thing the doctor definitely told me was DO NOT SLEEP IN THEM!

Not having to wear glasses is worth waking up early (for the ten extra minutes):)

NOOOO!! lol you can get a really bad eye infection especially since your new at the time. Alot of people make this mistake and it can be ok at first but after it can cause really bad eye infections. Just try to wake up earlier until you get the hang of it.

No you cannot sleep with your contacts in. If you don;t have time to mess with them tomorrow then wear your glasses.

if you sleep with contacts you will wake up with blood shot eyes and your eyes will be dry. i have accidently slept with mine on and my eyes the next day were burning.

No way. They could dry in your eyes and you could damage your eyes too.
