They were not just more gooey, but almost runny!
I had one the first year they came out, and the yellow center was very runny, and the white part was very creamy & gooey--sort of the consisitency of warm hot caramel sauce...
And have you noticed that they are SMALLER this year than they have ever been???
(I now like the caramel one the best, due to the chg in consistency in the "original"...)

Ireland. Nutritional unusualness: None noted.
"be" reports: Hmmmm! I spotted this about a month ago, and have mentioned it a few times, although it never made its way onto the "Awaiting Sightings" section. Okay, so the product speaks for itself... it's a Cadbury Dairy Milk, filled with Creme Egg. Although I was defiant at first, ie a Creme Egg should be a Creme Egg, and all these varieties are beginning to annoy me, I have to say it's a really good product. Good for taking a few pieces and saving the rest for later - the Creme Egg hit for the times when I have no spoon! Also spotted Happy Hippo Chocolate Cream variety - definitely does not match the original! .................

I think they were more gooey when we were kids. I look forward to them every year and in recent years they haven't been the same.
I can remember biting in to one of those and having to slurp out the filling before it got all over the place. still love them though.

I think they did change it. I do remember them being more gooey when I was a kid.

The last one I had was pretty hard too- I just figured it was old and it kind of grossed me out a little- maybe they have changed it.
