But the churches have taken the bible out of the service.
He preached about clean the inside of the cup not the outside.
Which he said like a zillion times. Never saying what bad was.
It is like a politician, say a lot of stuff people want to hear but never make any promises were you have to actually do anything.
Just be good! He doesn't want to step on anyones toes because there was people who were living together without marriage.
Thieves and liars, who were more than anxious to pay this preacher so no matter how bad they were they were going to heaven. He preaches tities and donate money.
But he never read a scripture that I can remember. Never condemed anything. told that the more we sin the better the more Jesus has to forgive. If that is the case then why are we paying him? why go if all you have to do is send money?
Does giving money to rich people get you into heaven?

sound like you need to find another church...one where the preacher doesn't have a private jet (Benny Hinn), or drive around town in his $500,000 Bentley (TD Jakes), or hold services in a converted basketball arena (Joel Osteen).

Greed is the new religion.

Christians do not believe the Bible any more than I do. If they did, they would sell all that they have and give the money to the poor (which Jesus instructed to do if one wants to be perfect, Matt.19:21). They would not work for a living or worry about what to eat or wear because they would believe that God provides all these things (as instructed in Matt. 6:25-34). They would do all the miracles Jesus did, and greater ones, too (as per John 14:12). They could heal the sick, drink poison, and pick up venomous snakes without harm (Mark 16:18). The fact that they can't and/or won't do all these things proves that they don't believe their Bibles, don't believe in Sweet Jesus, don't believe in God, and they are not True Christians™... or that the Bible lies, one or the other.

Go to another church, or study on your own. Most churches are going to ask for money, it's how they stay operational, but if you feel bad, or that they are asking for too much, then find a place you feel good about. Remember, not everyone behind the pulpit is truly a man of God.

Listen, and listen well. Only you are responsible for you. If it smells fishy, then back up, analyse, relax. If we worry about others too much, we become fearful of our own selves.......if you look back and think about what I have said, you will smile and nod.....say....it dosn't matter in the long run. Raise your arms in the air, you are free by being alive my friend.

Whoever you're talking about is stupid. And no, it does nothing for whether you go to Heaven or not.

Maybe you should stop looking for answers outside of yourself and start looking for them within?
