OK, here is a REAL answer.
The yellow liquid you describe is bile, or stomach acid that helps in food digestion. When animals vomit, they vomit the contents of their stomach(food, whatever is in there). When there is nothing left to come up, you may see bile.
Your dog may be vomiting for a reason. If it continues, he should see a vet to find out why he is vomiting. Bloodwork and/or xrays may be helpful. You dog could get dehydrated if it continues.
The course of treatment would depend on what the vet finds on exam, bloodwork and xrays.
Vomiting is a very common clinical sign of many many things, anything from simple GI upset to toxins, to stress, to severe organ problems, to a whole lot more. You won't know until you see a vet.
One thing you could try before going to the vet is pulling up food and water. DO NOT make him drink water. If his stomach is upset, adding food and water will make it worse. It will only make him vomit more. Let his GI tract rest for a few hours. Offer a small amount of water in about 4 hours. If he keeps that down, offer food in the morning.
If he continues to vomit, he should see a vet.

My dog had the same symptom, along with lethargy. The whites of his eyes were yellowish. i called the vet and insisted he see him. The xrayed him and he said to take him to the 24 hour emergncy clinic
It was pancreatitis, a potentially deadly disease. As a matter of fact most dogs only last a couple of days with this disease.
He spent a week in the hospital
Feeding the dog only makes it worse, as the pancreas will start to digest itself.
Get the dog to the vet right now. Do not wait. You should take the dog to the nearest vet emergency center with full lab onsite.
I hope this isn't the problem, but if it is, only fast action will save it's life.

What happens or what does it mean? The yellow fluid is bile. Food and or other "things" might be in the vomit. It could mean a number of things. If your pet continues to vomit, you might want to take him/her to the vet. If you are able to get a fresh sample of the vomit for your vet to test, might help. Below is a link that might help you more.

I'm guessing it just threw up stomach acid and water. It may be because it wasn't feeling well or it may be because it ate something weird or drank too much water after getting a lot of exercise. It's usually not that serious unless it throws it up a whole lot. After about 3 times, I'd bring it in to the vet. It could be serious. But if it's just once, I wouldn't worry too much about it. Just make sure the dog's getting enough water.

She theory the nutrition made her ill. Feed her some salt-loose crackers till her tummy settles and then feed her extra many times. My 6 month previous chihuahua eats 2 tablespoons crammed with kibble two times on a daily basis and that i could provide her a tablespoon between food or she would be in a position to get abdomen empty ill. Your chi is youthful so she would be in a position to require domestic dog chow and a minimum of three feedings if not extra.

Yellow means they have an empty stomach. This is the stomach acids. This either means they havent eaten in a while, or they have thrown up everything in their stomach. Watch carefully during the next 24 hours, whether he eats/drinks,throws up more, keeps food down. If it doesent get better, take him to the vet.

That's because he has nothing in his stomach besides stomach acid. The stomach upset could be from something they ate a while ago, changes in their environment, etc. Dogs vomit much more than humans do. It's their natural response to an upset. Unless there is blood in the vomit or they're vomiting often, it's nothing to worry about.

it means that they vomited, when they didn't have any food in their stomach.
Dogs like to eat grass when they are sick.
They vomit when they eat something they aren't supposed to.
It's nature's way of getting it out of thier system.
Clean it up with a paper towel, let your dog out where there is grass. And spray window cleanner to finish cleanning up the mess.
Feed you dog 1/2 a cup of dry food in 1-2 hours.

The dog may have eaten something that uspet his tummy. Monitor the dog and don't give any solids for 24hours. Try giving unsalted chicken broth (lukewarm) and ice chips to see if that helps. Make sure you call the vet if the dog's behavior changes. (sluggish, mopy)
