It depends. If you aren't really interested in getting back with them, then you should see what their motive is before you commit to having sex. Do they want to just stay friends and perhaps add some "benefits" to the friendship? Do you still have feelings for them?
Before you decide for sure, sit down with them and talk this through. It's better that you know if there is a desire on either of your parts to get back together. If you both have the desire to get back together, then I say go for it. If neither of you do, then you should consider it, but make sure that they know that you do not want to be more than just a friend to them. If you both cannot agree on this issue, then its best not to have sex, or else it could get ugly and destroy your friendship with them for good.
