yes, i think they are too dangerous,,,,, in many martial arts, you do not hit/fight unless you must, and when you do,,,,, the goal is to put your opponent down,,, down to the point they cant get up,,,,,,and i dont mean like a knock down, i mean serious injury,,,, i dont understand using it as a competition type thing
of course, i also find boxing crazy,,,,,, it reminds me of the old gladiator days,,,, a human being is not meant to be hit in the head, and body,,,, nor do i feel it should be a career,,,,

Martial arts, in their traditional form, would be too dangerous for the ring, as would the Mixed Martial Arts. There's a big difference between fighting that would be allowed in a "Bloodsport" kind of situation and UFC/Rage in the Cage/King of the Cage/etc etc etc.
Now to your question--why?
Although these fights are often billed as "no holds barred", there are no joint breaks, no small joint manipulation allowed (fingers and toes--excrutiating and easily resulting in breakage or dislocation), no eye gouges, ear boxing, no strikes to the back of the head, the spine, the groin, etc allowed.
This isn't to say that MMA's can't do the same thing as a Kung Fu/Chin Na/Jiu Jitsu stylist could. Of course they could, and they'd be big, strong atheletes to boot. But, that doesn't mean that MMA's would rule all if this were the case. Imagine what Brazilian Jiu Jitsu's "guard" position becomes when the person on the bottom can manipulate the joints of the fingers, head butt, eye gouge, and ear box. With a strong grip, a human ear can be ripped clean from the skull.
Now, if the argument is that MMA's are a dangerous sport, and that such competitions are too dangerous--this is false. If anything, the sport has shown itself to be not only exciting to watch, but relatively speaking, safe. The fights don't last as long as a boxing match, typically speaking, and due to the ability to clench, grapple, and frankly--the rapid knockout potential of a knee, chin, and lightly padded glove (on the hand), fighters tend to take much less damage than boxers do, and comparatively, show MMA's to be a much safer all-around sport.

Martial Arts, in its true form, are way too dangerous for the guys on the UFC to take. If you've been to the traditional schools in China, Korea and Japan, you'll see why TMA's over here are completely different. In East Asian countries, the Martial Arts are taught mainly for fighting, crippling and killing. Over here, it's for sport, fitness and for self-defense against the common man and most school teach a "water-downed" version of the actual thing because parents would think the original methods of teaching would be cruel and unusual and nobody would send their kids to Martial Arts schools.

you may could desire to be mad to think of that each and each athlete is going to play by skill of the regulations while assaulted. soccer gamers worldwide sign contracts to assert that they won't carry their codes and golf equipment into disrepute, yet a minimum of as quickly as a week, now and back quite a few circumstances, there's a narrative of intense profile soccer gamers brawling in pubs, golf equipment and bars and that's basically in Australia. You genuinely think of a Thai fighter is going to decide to your thigh once you're waving a broken bottle or a knife at him? he's going to break your knee and in case you retain it up in all hazard your throat as an extra greater desirable. If an Olympic Fencer is blessed with a combat back character do you think they does no longer grab a broomstick and jab your throat with it once you threaten him? i've got stated it in the previous, basically because of the fact it rather is a interest does not recommend you would be unable to kill somebody with it. Ymarskar? i've got performed it. I threw the regulations out the window and broke an assailant's knee. i'm asserting there is not any assure that a sportsman will play by skill of the regulations. None. Athletes are boastful twats, and there are a honest few who in the event that they did no longer have the skill to be incomes earnings enjoying their interest thay'd be yet another a variety of jerks waving knives. Mentality is a extensive factor.

No I love seeing people get their heads kicked in like decroded pieces of crap. Besiseds Mixed Martial Arts is actually safer in the long run to a persons health than boxing. The only people who think differently are people with an agenda (support boxing) or those who don't know any better. When boxing gloves get sweaty they become like clubs, and while they spread out the point of impact getting hit by them is also more jarring which results in more concussions, mor post concussion like symptoms and more neurological trouble down the line.

Look at some arts. They have techniques that incluce breaking bones that are common seen in MMA.
Then look at Muay Thai, they're known to have most destuctive strikes.
All those people who claim they're too dangerous for ring has been brain washed into believe they're too dangerous but they're simply fooling themselve.

Thats why they have rules, so there are no deadly moves used. I think some styles don't want to face the fact that without those few moves they have nothing to offer.

No, nothing is too dangerous, if it used correctly.
Such as, a Knife can be used to cut a watermelon or cut a throat.
