I don't think that is the case. The question is as much about Murphy as it is about his law. I think the reason that no one answered is that many people know about Murphy's Law, but few know the personal history of Murphy, which means that very few can give a proper answer to the question.
Also, it is sort of ambiguous the way that you link Catholicism with Murphy's Law. For what reason are you implying that in Catholicism, when something can go wrong it will? If no one is clear what you are asking they probably won't take the time to answer.

Maybe people have not heard of Murphys law! I personally don't think Murphy would necessarily have to be a Catholic for him to have this law named after him. BTW why would he have to be catholic???(Although Murphy is an Irish surname and due to the high numbers of catholics in ireland it could be quite possible he was) I just think he was a very unfortunate and unlucky man!

I think the majority of people know what Murphys law is...
but I looked at your question linked to and it just does not make sense.
I prefer dealing with TROLLS than questions that make absolutely no sense.
Can you explain what your question meant?

People know what Murphy's law is. No one understood your question. Now if you asked if his mother was Jewish, that might make more sense.

"Murphy's Law was? " Was? Has it been disproven? When did the theory all go wrong?

Don't get upset if people don't respond to stupid questions. They are trying to be kind.
