You probably have something on your mind that's keeping you awake, try writing in a journal or making a to-do list so you aren't thinking about what you need to do the next day. Obviously make sure you don't eat or drink right before bed, b/c that can make you stay awake. Make sure you go to bed at the same time every day so your body gets used to it. If none of these things work, you should go talk to your doctor about sleeping pills, you shouldn't be miserable!

I have had a similar problem. These are some things that have helped me.
1) No caffeine after 5pm, preferably no caffeine at all. Read the labels on things.
2) Get some exercise.
3) Do only two things in bed, sleep and sex. No reading in bed, no watching TV, no nothing.
4) Take a relaxing shower or bath beforehand.
5) Try meditating before bed.
6) If you can't fall asleep, get out of bed. Don't just lay there. Get up and go read, play cards, go for a walk, or something. TV and the computer are bad bets. You want something relaxing.
7) Get up out of bed when you wake up. No snooze alarm.

Make a note of what time you usually go to sleep each night. Try going to bed 15 minutes earlier each night until you reach a better bedtime. It sound though like it's stress related. Do you have alot on your mind? this often keeps us up at night. Try relieving some stress by exercise and then a nice shower. Good luck!

Hi,
This worked for me. Have you ever heard of Himalayan Goji Juice? Goji has enjoyed long use throughout Asia in the natural treatment of inxomnia. In several medical study groups with elderly people, nearly all patients taking goji reported better quality of sleep. If you want to learn more go to www.sharegoji.com
