Have you ever tried Melaleuca products. I have been hearing a lot of amazing stories from people that have had eczema that by using Melaleuca products they have dramatically reduced their eczema irritations and some to the point that they no longer have outbreaks at all. The secret is in the tea tree oil that is in all their skin care products. The main product for eczema is Melaleuca's lotion called "Renew". If you would like a sample to try you may email me your address to missyworkathome@yahoo.com
Here is a study on renew's effects on eczema...

I had eczema on my arms when I was a kid and it went away for years until about last year when I got it on my hands and hasn't gone away yet. I was prescribed a steriod ointment that helped some, but it keeps comming back. Weather they work or not on you these are things I can suggest you use (be careful what you use on your face)
Goats Milk
Fresh Aloe Vera leaf
beleive it or not I heard Lotrimin (foot fugus cream) works (I just bought some Saturday and only used it for 3 days so I cant give you the results yet)
ALWAYS keep it moisteried (the wal-mart brand of Eurcin works pretty well, and its wayy less expensive, Aveno lotion worked well too)
you can take benadryl to help also
when I had it on my arms hyrdocortizone cream worked great.
It's a lot harder for me to get rid of it on my hands because I use my hands for everything. ALSO, see if you have alergies because when I was young eating certin foods make me break out, try not to stress, if you can, because what I have on my hands is aparently due to stress.
Good luck, because I know how incredible frustrating and uncomfotable it can be.
Now that I wrote a novel, I am done!!

Hi Lianna
Here is a herb remedy that will work.
1. Take 1-3 droppersful of Echinacea Plus Tincture (at herbdoc.com or another qualified site) to strengthen the immune system.
2. Rub Garlic oil ALL over the affected area (Garlic will kill anything if you use enough of it)
3. Give 1-3 glasses of Activated Charcoal Slurry per day (to absorb the toxins out of the blood)
4. Mix equal parts of Aloe Vera Gel, Slippery Elm Powder and Activated Charcoal Powder together (absorbs the toxins externally)
5. Apply a thin layer of this mixture over the AFFECTED area(s).
6. Continue this treatment, until the desired Results are achieved.
This is healing at it's highest point.
Cause
Eczema is often called Dermatitis, and may be a symptom of an omega-3 fatty acid deficiency. Eczema can be due to allergies, allergies secondary to digestive disorders such as hydrochloric acid deficiency, rashes secondary to immune diseases, genetic metabolic disorders, and/or nutritional deficiencies, especially of niacin (vitamin B3) and B6, as well as other B vitamins.
To minimize your risk of developing eczema, avoid irritating substances, wear natural nonirritating materials, use soothing ointments, and check to see if dietary, nutritional, and/or and allergy-causing factors need to be considered.
Other ideas that will help:
Juice Therapy: The following juice combinations can help speed healing: black currant and red grapes; carrot, beet, spinach, cucumber, and parsley; and wheat grass juice.
Nutritional Supplementation: Vitamin A and GLA (gamma-linolenic acid), an omega-6 essential fatty acid found in high quantities in evening primrose oil, have both been shown to improve the symptoms of eczema. Vitamin E. Other useful supplements for preventing and reversing eczema include vitamin B complex, vitamin B6, vitamin E, magnesium, and zinc.
Topical Treatment: Apply evening primrose oil directly to cracked and sore areas of the skin. A topical paste made from ginkgo and licorice root extract has also been shown to improve eczema symptoms.
Best of health to you

My daughter, from the day she was born, has had eczema. It can only be managed and cannot be cured. As she has gotten older, it has gotten better and she rarely has a flare up now. The doctor prescribed steroid creams and advised me to use mild cleansers and Eucerin cream. She had an especially bad spot on her back about 4 inches across that I could not get to heal and she now has a scar. So it can be nasty stuff. I would go back to the doctor and have him do more for you. If its starting to itch all over, you may have an allergy to something.

Both the kids have different types of eczema. It can't be curred, but it can be treated. The cream is for the patches you had on your face. In the winter, only bath everyother day. Use white dial, tone, or dove. Do not use overly hot water. 10 min after bathing apply eucerine lotion. There is another $10 lotion you can use, but I forgot the name. If it still itches, you can try the alveno lotion with oatmeal or eucerine just came out with one called calming for itchy skin. Call your doctor and they may be able to call in a prescription to the pharmacy for you.

eczema can't be cured, only treated. if it's really bad you can get a prescription medication, like a steroid cream. in general, you just want to keep your skin moisturized. use a moisturizer bar soap like dove. eucerin is a moisturizing cream that works great.
