So, my girlfriend lives in another state, and I'm very much in love with her. I'm also in love with my best friend who lives in my city. My friend knows of my feelings and she's very open to making out with me still if I wanted to--even though we will never be together and I'm in a committed relationship. I know my girl will never find out, and it would crush her completely if she did, but I really want to makeout with my friend. I think my answer is pretty obvious, but I need more people to confirm it. Thank you much.

Even if your girlfriend never knows - you'll know. Then, you will have to live with that. And the previous person was right, how would you like it if she did that to you? Don't kid yourself and say you wouldn't mind.

Also, once you start kissing your friend, it will be tempting to go further, you'll be treading on dangerous territory.

Remember, just because we want to do something doesn't mean we should necessarily do it. Hold out and when your girlfriend comes back from being away, your kisses will be all the more sweeter.

AS you stated, you know the answer.

My concern for you is that you SAY you are in a committed relationship but you obviously are not if you need confirmation from others to do the right thing.

You either love your girlfriend or your girl-friend. Which is it?
And, like BlueStar, says, "How would you feel if you girlfriend did the same?" If you are serious about your "committed" relationship then this is not even a real question, is it?

I'd prefer to talk with my main girlfriend unless we had a prior arrangement or, what I actually did, I thought a parting of the ways was near future

talking about these things prior to urge is beneficial as she was I hear lining up threesomes that she hoped would materialize without prior approval

regarding how I'd have felt if my GF had affairs I'd be happy with it if I didn't hear about it, or, perhaps, if I were part of the affair

If a previous GF reads this, um hi, It was just a bunch of making out plus I was so wierded with the fidelity thing that I passed on a bunch of similarishkinda opportunities

If it is of value 4/5 Cosmopolitan readers have had an affair I think the cultural norm should be your partner will have various different partners They think you are wonderful anyway

If you love your girlfriend like you say you do, then you already know the answer is STAY FAITHFUL. If you're that confused, maybe you need to re-evaluate your relationship with your girlfriend. Why is it that you and your best friend could never be together? And I have to question what kind of a girl she is, that she would be willing to take part in you risking your relationship with your girlfriend, or willing to "steal" another girl's boyfriend.

If you want to make out with your "best friend" ..then you need to break it off with your "girlfriend" who lives in the other state. You say she won't ever know,... but women have a way of sensing these things. She'll figure it out eventually. Don't be a sleeze ...

Well..............Do you have feelings for your best friend? Or is just a sex thing? Even though you think you wont get caught, you will always have that thought in the back of your mind that you cheated on someone who you "love". So I say DON'T DO IT!

If the person you are with is not, in your mind worth the loyalty. Have enough respect for her to let her go. Otherwise you become yet another contemptable idiot, further sullying our gender only to end up on Maury Povich. MEN don't cheat.

YOU ARE NOT IN A COMMITTED RELATIONSHIP IF YOU ARE ON HERE ASKING IF YOU SHOULD CHEAT ON HER...just because she will "never know" doesn't mean you won't, and are you really wanting to know that you are a cheating piece of garbage for the rest of your life? Can you live with that for a little nookie? I didn't think so...
