what are the breeds and sex
well considering they are both the same sex and are now fighting you may have to get rid of one or keep them seperated. since the one dog sees that the other dog was hurt by another he may feel he should do the same. we had two male pitts father and son. the father attacked the son on several occasions and it was bad!!!!!!!!!! it has to do with a male dominance and more then likely it will continue. im so sorry i have been there. we had to put the father down because he was the aggressor. it was extremely difficult because we had him since he was a tiny baby. but you need to do what is best he may even attack another dog if the chance is there. good luck

Are they both of one gender? Are they fixed? Fixing, especially neutering, tends to lower aggression towards other animals. They don't quite have the drive to reproduce and gain more territory that intact animals do.
If not, try figuring out which dog is dominant. Usually, if there is more than one, one will be dominant over the other. If you give the subordinate one food before the dominant, it may result in a small quarrel. Same thing with treats and toys and sometimes even attention.
If none of this works, as with all else, talk to a professional. Vets can help, as can trainers. Vets can also help you get in contact with some good trainers in your area. Good luck!

I had the same problem that u are going threw now. I had a female boxer that would not get along with my other dogs and blood was shed on both of them that's why they couldn't be around each other they say once they have the taste of blood they can never be around each other so i suggest that u get rid of one of them or keep them separated forever. I had too. Another thing i can suggest is watch the dog whisper hes good at them problems i watch it all the time.

keep them apart. when u are not home if the bitten dog has not seen a vet take him to the vet. the one who got bit is just scared now and i'm sure in pain. u need to correct them both BEFORE the fights start. with touch. make you ever starts it sumit to the other if not sure make both lay down beside each other..if u are already pack leader then this shouyldnot be a problem. or here get a trainer to help!

are not getting in between them. your dad did the the appropriate option element. in the event that they are drawing blood, it rather is not a dominance combat, this for real. you desire a specialist coach. till that factor, get 2 sturdy people, you mum and dad perhaps, to leash them and convey them into the comparable room. on the 1st sign of aggression, make a growling aaaaaa! sound or a hissing ssssssssst!, whichever you're maximum gentle with, then supply a company correction of jerk and launch. while the agression pauses, even nevertheless temporarily compliment. in the event that they get too nutsy, take one out of the room. reset the channel of their thoughts for a minute with a sit down, compliment and manage. start up back. artwork in the direction of the two being waiting to pay interest adequate to obey a sit down command, the appropriate option if mandatory. compliment and prompt manage! flow them closer alongside with the sit down command. try this for 10 minutes an afternoon. daily for 6 weeks. they are going to comprehend that undesirable habit should not be tolerated. they are going to learn how to obey concurrently. seperate them and artwork on sit down, down and stay. a sturdy stay is advantageous! it rather is likewise 10 minutes an afternoon. be consistant for the subsequent six weeks. mark your calendar.

are they both male, after one dogfight the one that was injured might be feeling aggressive, due to pain. especially males..have they ever fought before? If not, i wopuld tend to keep them seperate until the injured one gets over the trauma. do not let them run loose to get into that situation again. also, do not try to stop the aggression with more aggression, command them to STOP, spray with water.

ok, if it is maybe two males, two fmales, or one of both. most dogs have to figure out how the leader in the "pack." our dogs done the exact same thing. don't worry. soon it will be over. mine took about two days before they figured out who the boss was. just make sure they don't kill each other. lol. just kidding. just watch them, mostly.

Get them fixed. And if they are a terrier breed...you will need to get rid of one. Why the EFF did I get thumbs down? Don't you know you cannot keep two male terriers together, such as JRTs or Pitt Bulls...if left alone they can kill eachother?
