Go to any mediterranean or Israeli grocery and ask for the Dead Sea salt they use for Koshering. This will be the best for you. Delicious. I use it all the time. They have course and fine grain.
And they do not add iodine so there is no metallic flavoring what so ever. But do keep in mind that unprocessed sea salt is VERY salty, about 3x more salty than normal processed salt, in my experience. Add a little at a time. This will do the trick!

Love it! Learned to cook with it while in France.

It's a little more expensive than the highly processed salt that you buy in the round bottle, but it's still affordable--oh and it's so worth it in terms of flavor and texture.

You can buy it at Trader Joes--in its own reusable grinder or in a bag, Wild Oats, Fresh Fields and Whole Foods. I've also seen it at Williams Sonoma. I bet you could find it at Sur La Table too.

Also, don't be afraid of the grey-colored sea salt, it is perfectly clean and lends a slightly different flavor than the white salt.

You could probably buy it at a Wholesale Food Mart.
