The "ni" is pronounced like the name "Nick."

The "ckent" is prounced like the name "Kent."

The syllables are broken up like this: ni-ckent.

OK, both the sound of the syllables and inflection are important. Here's the official answer from Nickent: (By the way, the NI is NOT pronounced like NICK, that's so wrong...)

Might be the part of the country you are in.

I have heard it more as Nick ent than ni kent.
