now would "not" be time for a diet ..... but at your age it would be a good idea to start eating healthy, eat lots of oats and beans, and stay away from fats. dairy and fatty beef. now is a great time to beggin living healthy and what you learn and do now will stay with you for the rest of your life

Easy.

Exercise once a day for 30 minutes by doing something simple like walking.

Cut out all white flour and processed sugars, IE junk food, white bread, white rice, potatoes and regular sodas. Eat 3 square meals a day and 2 snacks. Cut back on your portion sizes. Focus on lean meats, whole grains, fruits and vegetables. Be careful with salad dressings as they are full of empty calories. Eating like this is sensible, healthy, safe and it works. I've lost 65lbs this way and didn't have to buy a book or join a club to do it.
It's not a diet plan it's a life style, learning how to eat now will serve you well the rest of your life!
Also ask your diet before going on a diet!

Here's a great diet. It helped me loose 25 lbs. in 2 months and loose an inch off my waist. I eat a bowl of oatmeal for breakfast chased with a can of Slim Fast. For lunch I drink a big glass of freshly made vegtable juice (6 carrots, 3 apples, 2 celery stalks, and it tastes great) You will need a jucier for this. I bought a JuiceMan Jr. juicer at targer for under $90. Your health and well being is worth it. I chase it with another can of Slim Fast and a multi vitamin.
For dinner I have a regular meal (low fat).
You have to be strong and stay away from junk food and sweets.
It takes willpower. You can do it if you make up your mind to.
Good luck and I hope this helps.
