They don't really attract. It's the fact that it's like each person represents half of the puzzle. You got your creative person and then an athletic.
When they get home at the end of the night, it's interesting for the two to talk. One is a scientist and one is a football player. See what I mean?

They say that because of magnets... However it is somewhat true for people... Guys and girls, Unless your gay (I have nothing against gay's)... People are usually attracted to things they dont have...
For instance my girlfriend is outgoing, and she told me she fell in love with my quietness :)
