How far is it to Reno Air Race field from the Reno Airport? Do they offer a shuttle? Place to tent camp?

The Reno National Championship Air Races are held at Stead Field, an ex-military field about 20 miles from the Reno Cannon airport.

During race week (usually around the second week in September) there is bus, shuttle and taxi service from the airport and downtown hotels to the race site.

There is a limited amount of RV parking on site but no camping area. Local hotel rates are very reasonable.

They're heald at stead airport. You could probably take a taxi. I go every year but I live in Reno. The staed airport is about a 30min.- 45min. drive from the airport. I don't think there is a shuttle.
