Just accept it, live with it, part of being young is you have to obey even when things don't seem fair, or to make sense. It happens. Life is not always fair. Find something else to do. Homework? Talk on the phone with friends? Read a book? Soak in a bath tub? Don't let it bother you, stuff like this happens all the time in life and you would go crazy if you let it all bug you. You will be adult soon enough and able to make your own decisions.

Well if your sister is older then you, you should share your feelings with your mom, but don't argue. ARGUEING GETS YOU NO WHERE!!! so discuss it in a quiet tone. but if she sticks to her answer there is nothing you can do about it. if your sister is younger thats a different story thats just not right. if she has time to drop ur sister off at a party then i think she should be able to drop you off. Discuss it with her, but don't use an attitude.

You left out some details like how old is your sister and who are you going with. If you are trustworthy than there are probably issues that your Mom might be concerned about that you haven't totally explained yet.

well, the only thing i can say that worked with me and my mom is, if you dont see something as fair, or if you dont agree with your mom, tell her, in a calm manner and dont scream yell or anything. just say something like, "i dont understand why i cannot go out, but my sister can", the best thing is to communicate, and her explination my be a very valid one, but like other people said, without specific ages, it is hard to say.

you dont say hold you or your sister are so its pretty hard to make a call about her decision. maybe if you can arrange a suitable way of getting to and home from the dance that your mum happy with, she will change her mind

Your mom probably thinks that you're too young, or doesn't trust you, or thinks you won't have a ride, or something.
Please talk calmly with her, use I-messages and stuff "I feel like a mistake when...". If she still says no then you can always burn the cat or something.

When you move out and pay all your bills you will have the freedom to do as you wish, in the meantime your parents have a say in what you do, might not seem far, but thats the way it is.

It really depends on how old your sis is. If shes older, then yes. If she's the same age or younger, then deffinately not!

Since you didn't disclose your age or your sisters age, I think it's safe to assume that your mother knows what's best for you.
