what motivates you to do study hard in school?

I am a college student and i want to get motivated to study for my midterm. please help me create a list of what motivates you to study for a midterm or go school in general. be creative please.

When I was in college I thought about money, pride, and the day I'd never have to worry about another final. Shallow yes, but it helped me graduate. Honestly though, the greater earning potential you get as a college grad should be enough motivation.

Don't look on it as study or work, enjoy it, I always imagined it was some kind of research or a challenge-made it into a game, something to be solved. Think of yourself as a real smartass with all the knowledge that is going in, it helps give you a positive attitude.

I am in college too. I always think "my life is on the line." It is also true, because education is what determines what job you will have and how much dough you will get later on. Do your best, but don't be a crazy idiot like me who goes crazy when getting a B instead of an A. B's just drive me nuts, I dont know why.
