okay, i want to wear my hair up in a ponytail but when i was little i wore it once and everyone made fun of me and i looked like a boy. but now i think its looks kind of good but i am afraid if i wear it to school everyone will laugh at me. and i have to wear it in a ponytail for cheerleading and i have to cheer in front of the whole middle school and i am afraid i will get made fun of. wut do i do? please help!

what happened a long time is just that...a long time ago!
Kids can say some pretty hurtful things just for kicks!
Cheerleaders have to keep the hair off of their face. It is more of a safety issue during tumbling and stunts. It also allows the team to have more of a uniform appearance when everyone's hair looks the same! Don't do the hoop earrings though...I saw a girls ears be ripped because she had in hoop earrings during a stunt. The flyers finger got caught while going up into a liberty...and you guessed it Lots of blood....it was not pretty!
Go ahead and pull your hair back...just not too tight. Leave some whispy bangs and dress it up with ribbons, barrettes. wear pretty small earrings (just not while cheering)!

I love wearing ponytails. My hair isn't all in my face. You shouldn't worry about what others will say. If it makes you feel better I was made fun of too. Some things that helped me and I hope can help you are wearing bangs, ribbons on your ponytail and my favorite curl your ponytail.

i used to figure skate and i got made fun of for how funny i looked with my hair in a bun. Try not to pull it back too tight and if you have bangs or small pieces of hair near your face, leave them down so that you look more girly. And wear chandelier earrings or hoops.

I think you should wear it. If you think it looks good, chances are everyone else is going to think the same. If you still arent too sure about it. Go to one of your BEST FRIENDS houses and show it to her. She'll be truthful and most likely give you good advice.

hey umm just put it up but not too high. You'll look good font worry. Ponytails are really easy and they look good on everyone as long as its not too high up. Hope this help
