driver's license test tomorrow!?

Question

so i'm taking my license test for the first time tomorrow, and frankly, i'm pretty nervous.

in california, you only need to take a written test for your permit, right? meaning there's no sort of written test before the actual driving test?

and also: any tips? ha.

No need for a written test. This is the REAL DEAL - you're not going for a writing licence, you're going for a DRIVING licence! The DMV want to see how well you can DRIVE.

Hey, there's no need to be nervous, you've had plenty of practice, right. Get a good nights sleep, have a good breakfast and above all relax! When you get into the car for your test, take some deep breaths to help you relax and make out that the DMV guy isn't there, you are in the car on your own.

You KNOW what you have to do and you have learnt the road rules - just do it! Don't focus on the end of the hood - keep your focus well ahead so that you can read what the traffic is doing. This helps to warn you of situations early. Also keep yourself aware of the vehicles around you by regularly checking all the mirrors. Give plenty of indication before lane changes or turns. But, you know all this stuff. Go do 'er!

Think positive! You're GOING TO GET YOUR LICENCE tomorrow!

nope, there isnt any other written test before your driving test! just try to stay calm, and act like the instructor isnt in the car with you, and make sure you are constanly looking in your mirrors... lol this is kinda funny but when i took my test the instructor guy came out of the building and introduced himself and stuff and i complemented his shirt [even though it wasnt all that nice] and i was acting extra perky, and i think it gained me some extra points! lollll good luck sweety im sure you'll do fine! <3
