bacteriophages only infect bacteria. each bacteria have specific bacteriophages that they are infected by.

Ooh, and as an interesting, or not so interesting, bonus: the name "bacteriophage" itself tells you what it infects. Bacterio- I suppose quite obviously means "bacteria" and -phage means "one that eats." So a bacteriophage is essentially "one that eats bacteria." Paraphrased of course.

Keep in mind, as others have reported, that different phage infect different bacteria. There isn't a single kind of bacteriophage that infects every kind of bacteria, that I know of at least.

It is a small type of virus that infects bacteria.
