Taking pills usually flushes extra water to make you feel like you lost weight quickly. Most are NOT healthy...they tend to be "speed".
Best bet: opt for slow steady weight loss with several small meals to boost will power and improve snack resistance.
Things like RAW carrots burn MORE calories than they provide. So if you MUST snack...a couple of peeled with a potato peeler carrots will satisfy.
Avoid sodas, sweets and have only a small bit of bread.

The best thing you can do is just watch what you eat how much you eat and when you eat. I was on a supplement called "ripped fuel" and it was great till some people that were taking it died because they took to much. any way i got off of them and my metabolism was shot in the a**. i gained a little weight but then exercised 30 min a day and just watched what i put into my body. Nothing in life is that easy as one pill a day you have to work at it if you want to be healthy.
