My hair is pretty thick, but NOT really thick. It's in the middle, more on the thick side though. I was just wondering what exactly happens when you go to get your hair 'thinned'? Do you think it would make my hair less frizzy and poofy? What should i request if I go? Thank you so much!

They kind of layer it to take some of the volume out of it. I don't think it will take the frizz out, but it will be less poofy, thick.

it will definitely help with the poof (which I have a lot of), but it doesn't really help with the frizziness. I feel like my hair weighs ten pounds less when I have my hair thinned. For the frizziness, use a serum like Frizz-Ease.

well ask whoevers doing your hair what they think of course but it will take away the poofyness (is that a word) not the frizz though try dove conditioner for that it works well for me and try not to straightin or curl it every day that might fix the frizzyness(don't think thats a word either)I hope it works good luck!!I have my hair thinned at least every 2 months usually more than that but my hair is wayy wayy wayy thick!

when you get your hair thinned they can do it with a thinning shear what that does is it cut only part of the hair so that you cant tell this is done under the top layer. or they can use a razor for the frizz try paul mitchell super skinny serum
