I’ve been an Independent Insurance Agent since 1992, I’ve seen and heard all sorts of nightmare stories about Insurance companies, and I’ve experienced them personally. In all of those years I have seen one Insurance company that has stepped up to the plate and actually taken care of there insured more consistently than any other company out there and that’s been Allstate, not to say I’ve not seen bad things happen with them too, yet badly as I hate to say it and badly as I don’t like to make an endorsement of any one company it’s been my experience.
Mind you Allstate is not always if ever the cheapest game in town, nor are they the easiest to even qualify for but it all boils down to as one person said, what best fit’s your needs and what’s important to you. Shop rates, research companies decide what you need and what’s important to you, discussing this with a knowledgeable and concerned Insurance Agent can be a great wealth of information.
Sometimes cheap insurance is just that, cheap insurance but sometimes you get a winner if the need should arise that you need them.
Good luck and happy hunting.

AAA is the best if you can get insurance with them. They are very strict about the number of points you have on your license and only insure people who have a proven track record of being good drivers. They also have the best Roadside assistance benefits as well as towing, and a lot of other benefits such as vacation discounts, hotel discounts, good student discounts, etc. Check them out.
