I have that problem also. My scalp gets itchy, but the day after, it is greasy. I have bee using Head and Shoulders Dry Scalp shampoo. There is a difference between dry scalp and dandruff. The dandruff shampoo will make the problem worse. Try just a dry scalp for a while. Neutrogena makes a good shampoo with salycilic acid in it. You can use it for a couple of weeks, and it takes care of dry skin. I hope this helps.

Dandruff does not come from your scalp being dry, so that has nothing to do with your hair being greasy. The best dandruff shampoo/conditioner is Redken. It works great on your hair and your scalp both, but you have to get it in a salon. Good luck!

Are you washing every day? unless your hair is very very short this is a no no. Brush it well the night you wash it before bed then freshen up with a detangler and pull it up. The greasy is either from your shampoo / conditioner or product. Try a tea tree shampoo only on scalp, light conditioner only on ends and maybe some aresol hair spray for styling, rave works good with out added foo foo. Good luck!

i used to be in the same shoes. i came to the conclusion that my hair was tired of the shampoo. try Aussie Dual Personality for the greazies. and about the dandruff, use Head&Shoulders

WARNING ABOUT HEAD&SHOULDERS: DO NOT USE IT EVERYDAY BECAUSE IT WILL DRY OUT UR HAIR AND THEN UR HAIR WILL EVEN LOOK WORSE!!!

Your hair may be over reacting to being dry. I would use a conditoner on the part of your hair that does not touch your scalp.
