I went on a diet a couple of weeks ago and I started at 200 then 8 days later im at 193

My diet is eating healthy foods and fruits like eggs, hash browns, rice, chicken, and steak. I also eat a lot of pineapples but im not losing a pound. I run everyday twice for 30 minutes what is the problem, also I drink 72oz of water which is equivalent to 9 glasses of water.

do not eat eggs, hash browns, steak or rice. if you really want to loose wieght fast stick to fruits and vegetables only for 2 weeks. you will loose a ton of weight. try to avoid fatty foods like eggs or steak. white grilled chicken is good. a little bit of rice as rice is high in carbs.

Accutly you really don't need to drink that much water.

Alot of people make the common mistake thinking they need 7-10 glasses a day but this is just another common myth. You should only drink water when you are thirsty. Also some of the foods on your list don't sound very healthy. You might also be eating or taking more cal's in than you should, but you burning the extra cal's off so that's why your not gaining but nor are you losing the weight.

Tips

Workout 30 min in the morning before breakfast to burn off extra fat cal's. This helps alot.

Skip snacking. See that cookie no evil bad just put it down..

Also remember for every pound of fat you lose it's replaced with one pound of muscle, So you might not losing weight but you probably are losing fat teshuie. -End

The initial weight loss was most likely water weight. To continue to lose weight you should keep your caloric intake to 1200 calories a day. Eat lots of veggies and fruits. Fried foods are not good. Also, keep your fat intake to about 25g or less a day. Watch out your carbs as well. Pineapples have a lot of sugar and may actually make you bloat. Eggs are ok, but should be limited to 2 max per day. Chicken is good when it is baked, or grilled not fried. Lean steak is good, but make sure your portion size is about 4 oz and you eat it with veggies.

The calorie counting formerly kept people very busy. Most grew tired and gave that up for simpler things like average for an egg and slice of bread.
Most weight lost initially is WATER...this is what football players may lose 5 pounds of during a game.
Cutting back to 4-6 smaller meals works for some people.
That keeps the will power up to resist snacking if you know you can hold out for 2 hours!

Stick with it do not give up, your body is not supposed to drop alot of weight in a short period of time . Continue on the right path and you will see your body starts to transform right before your eyes. The most important thing is that your on the right path of living a healthy lifestyle. Give your body time to grasp the changes that your putting it through. Your body percentage of fat might not be changing or shows on the scale because you are also gaining muscle. Try drinking a herbal slimming tea to jump start your diet and get rid of toxins. Your body could be holding these toxins causing a lack of change on the scale. Also you should add something else to your workout, perform another form of exercise and at different times of the day. It is good to surprise your body at time to increase metabolism.

Avoid Eggs,chickens,rice,steak go for fresh and green vegetables and fruits, also avoid soft drinks and fast foods.
If u dont consume SUGAR too, Very soon u will start losing ur weight again.

Usually the first 10 # is undigested food and then from proper eating and exercise you will loose a little more gradually.

Maybe you are supposed to be at this weight. Like it's your weight "plateau". Also since you just lost some weight maybe your body is adjusting and just like... taking a weight-loss breath before it starts losing again.

But hey you are eating pretty healthy (i dunno about the steak) so you are probably healthy overall.
