i think i've heard that its not an eating disorder if you don't feel guilty. its the feeling of guilt and doing something wrong that makes it a disorder. so if you feel good about binging and purging, its not necessarily bulimia, right?
and besides, if you only throw up when you feel the need to because you ate too much, you are in control and the binging and purging is not getting out of control or anything, so thats not necessarily bulimia, correct?
anyone else agree?

If you vomit on even a semi-regular basis after eating too much, you may have a mild form of eating disorder. Vomiting is a natural reaction of the body when you have something in your stomach that you shouldn't, whether it be a flu virus, bad food, or simply too much food. However, if you eat so much food that your stomach refuses to hold it all, that is a problem in itself.
Guilt is only a very common side effect of eating disorders, some people feel no remorse over their choices. Binging and purging is simply not healthy. Vomit is acidic and will wear down your esophagus and teeth, causing hoarseness, throat problems, tooth decay, and more.
Please, don't try to rationalize binging and purging. Talk to a doctor, binging and purging will hurt you over time.

Yes that happened to me before. Except i wanted to throw up when ever i Even saw food. But this really works. Like don't smell or breath in the food. Shut off your taste buds. Get your favorite food one that wont make you gag & eat like a freaking race horse once you are full you wont have problems any more. you will feel better. Just NEVER EVER let your self get hungry for to long then food sound gross.

I don't binge and purge really, but if I honestly have had way too much to eat and it makes me feel yucky, then I will force myself to throw up most of it. Yes, it does make me feel better. I only do this about once a month or so.

I don't throw up but when I have the stomach flu and I throw up i feel very relieved. You feel all sick and bloated, and when you throw up you get this temporary relief.

i think you have an eating disorder and you are in denial. you may think you have it under control but i don't think you do. I hate to puke even when i am sick.
