I have extremely dry skin on my face. I don't wash my face often, twice a day, once in the morning once at night, so I don't think thats the problem. I uses the facewash morning breeze. And I always use a face lotion, alcohol free, after I wash. My face has dry red spots all over. I also have oily skin. So washing my face is a must. My family has been known to have bad acne so I try to keep a medium.

I have no idea what to do.

Any ideas??

Do dermatoligists work with dry skin?

Other ideas?

You could have rosacea. It causes your face to have dry patches with oily skin underneath. You get red itchy patches. Go and see a dermatologist, he will definitely be able to help you out.

You want a hydrating face lotion made specifically for dry skin. BUT make sure it is OIL FREE as well as no alcohol. since you have oily skin. There are also toners you can get for dry skin...usually ones made with roses and stuff!

Yes dermatoligists should work with you, but I would first go to a spa and get a facial and the specialist will help you decide whats better for your skin.

Also I would switch your facial cleaner with a creamy cleaner, try dove moisterizing cleanser.

Dermatologists work with every type of skin.
My face is extremely dry, and I use MaryKay..
Avon is also good.
Make sure you wash daily, and put on a moisturizer or lotion right afterwards.
The spots may mean that you've had an allergic reaction to something.. Try switching products and see if it goes away.
