I think that is why alot of people wont serve him because he doesnt need them but yet wants them.......I wish he needed me but he only wants me. I know he doesnt need anything or anybody. It just would feel good for him too. It usually makes a person more dedicated if someone needs them. maybe that is why people would rather support people is because they are wanted and needed. It is kinda sad really.

Well, He is God, and being omnipotent He technically doesn't need anything. But then, think about it. When you say that two people need eachother, what do you mean? Example: if I say that I need a friend, I hardly mean that I'll die if someone doesn't come up and introduce themeselves. In the same way, when I wife says she needs her husband, it doesn't really mean that she'll curl up and whither away if he leaves; she'll probably just go live with her mother for awhile.

Two people rarely need eachother, in the literal sense. What they mean is that they need the compassion, the interaction, the mutual knowledge and feeling of existence other than one's self. God needs you for exactly those reasons, and He needs each and every person on the planet on that same personal level. He needs us like a father needs his children.

Yeah, this type of need might seem like a purely human concept, but its one we inherited fom Him. If anything, He feels it more fiercly than we do, needs us more than we need eachother.

Hope my answer was relevant.

I used to ask the same thing when I was younger. Now I ask myself why God wants anything to do with any of us. It seems the older I get the more meaningless all of life and creation becomes. For example, I cannot understand why people tell me that suicide is an unforgiveable sin. If a person has had enough of life, why continue living? Besides, I have no idea why God would need me anyway. I have nothing He wants. Surely I have nothing He needs. And just because we were made in His image I don't feel that I should have to decide between Heaven and Hell. How about nothingness? To be as though I never was? I mean, I can't conceive of what to do on most Saturday afternoons. What am I going to do with eternity? I'm 45 and already life, for me, is meaningless. It would be nice if God actually did need me, but I'm not betting eternity on it.

You have it backwards and I will tell you why.
You only what God can give you, not what He desires of you.
Your selfish nature wants it your way, God's ways know the best way and mankind won't admit it without acknowledging His ways are better than yours.
You don't want to be wanted, you don't want to change your lifestyle and admit you're wrong.
Stop laying the excuse that God doesn't need you. He created you and desires a relationship with you. Isn't that enough for you...It will satisfy God.

God needs everybody! He needs you to spread the news that Jesus Christ is born again! That is the reason God has put you on this earth is so you can spread his news and that you can get more and more people into his kingdom so they can live happy and eternaly forever and ever.

God loves you so much that He allowed His son to die a horrible death on a cross to take the punishment for your sins.

And you speak as if that's nothing?
