Why does microwave popcorn smell so bad when you first open the cellophane package?

the oils they use in the popcorn is what stinks. They all have some oil in the bags for them to pop, Between the paper and the oil, it reeks at times. almost like smelly feet lol

I haven't experienced that, have you checked the expiration date? Was it of good quality????

some of them almost smell ilke crap realy
