Finally asked her out ... Now what!?

Question

Ok well, I finally asked this chick in my class for her phone number and we have plans this weekend to do something. I have a couple questions:

1. She wants to go to dinner ... How does this work? I haven't been on a date in forever.

2. What do I do after dinner?

3. How can I tell if she is interested in me? Smiles? Laughs? Etc ...

4. What are some tips for dating?

Note: I am 21 if that changes any answers. Thanks all!

Okay, so take her to a nice restaurant. It doesn't have to be too fancy, as I assume you're in college.

Let her talk about herself, or if she's not that type, just talk about things that interest you, and don't use "I" a lot, ask questions instead of "I like this band" say "Have you heard of..." You know?

After dinner take her home or whatever, maybe make plans for a second date.

You can tell she's interested if, well, I usually smile a lot and make a lot of eye contact and maybe, I don't know, say "I really like you." As long as she doesn't look annoyed, you're cool, but every girl's different.

All I can say is be sweet, compliment her, but not too much, and be yourself.

I feel your pain, I was completely lost when I started dating again...being in a relationship for years affects it a lot! 1. Of course you pay for dinner, pick the place (of course ask her if she likes it, after you pick it). 2. Call it quits after dinner...even though you may want to prolong the date. This will leave her wanting more, and you won't look so desperate. 3. When a girl likes a guy they smile, laugh, giggle, have sporadic eye contact, maybe intentional little touches. 4. Just have fun, stay confident. Nothing is sexier than a guy that has confidence, but not too much!

One thing...when you get the bill don't mention anything about it. Don't ask her how much you should tip and dont let her see it. Just put down your payment and leave it at that. Good luck!

1) Don't ask her where she wants to go. If it's not too late, ask her questions to figure out what she likes to eat, then go to a place that serves it. But if you ask her it looks like you can't take control of the relationship.

2) Either a movie, or I would suggest a play or musical if you can find one. If you live in a nice city, then just drive around the city, but make sure she has a milkshake or a nice drink in her hand.

3) You must not always talk about yourself, but you should a little bit. If she seems interested thats good. Also, if she smiles and laughs then you have succeded in at least making her think she likes you (this is great by the way).

4) Don't show her 100 percent of who you are, just maybe about 80 percent. TRUST ME

2. After dinner take her back to her house(maybe she'll invite you in...if she has no plans 4 tomorrow and really like you

1.Hmm.. thats interesting. Well, i assume you got some dough, so just go to a nice restaurant. Does'nt have to be authentic italian or some crazy expensive restaurant, but it has to be nice.

2.I dunno about after dinner. Go to a park and chill? go watch a movie? Lots of stuff to do.

3.Smiles and laughs are big plusses. She'll probably keep asking you quesitons so make sure your ready to answer.

4.Its okay to be nervous, but make sure to make her feel safe. Since its your first date, dont hold her in your arms and stuff. it'd be too fast. Usually, if the girl does it first, its okay for you to do it too.

AND DONT GET DOWNRIGHT DRUNK ON THE FIRST DATE!!!
