What is behind his actions?

i met this guy and he has been sending mixed messages. We talked on the phone a few times then he says something about he doesn't trust me then he goes MIA on me for about a week. He then texts me asking if i wanted to go hand out and for him to give me my vday gift. im confused. i got my gift and its a 14 carat white gold and pink gold ankle bracelet..mind you i only met him at the beginning of Feb. How do i interpet his actions..tell me what you think?

He is trying to show you some affection but this is a situation were more information would really be helpful. I personally can't know how close you've guys have gotten nor can I evalute anything about the level of communication. But I'm a little concern that his gift surprised you. Can mean one of two things; one that you didn't feel the relationship was close enough for him to be throwing such gifts your way so your concern that he might be feeling more for the relationship then you. Two the relationship is going pretty good and the gift was just the best thing he could think of because your bday was so close and he want'd to show you how much he cared thru a very traditional action and your feeling confused maybe because you don't feel you deserve so much after giving so little. It can even be possible that its all just illisions and your feeling that something isn't right because something really isn't right. You need to pratice that female intiution and if your have questions about his actions just do your best to make him earn your trust. If he really loves you he'll go thru a little hell to enjoy some heave with you, but if it isn't true then throwing to much hardship in his way well send him somewhere else were he belongs...
