there's no harm in it
and doctors are still gona try their best to save you if you're in a bad situation
why would they help someone that they dont even know to get an organ when the person they're trying to save is right in front of them?

Yes, I have the donor sticker on my drivers lincense. I have no need for the parts if I'm dead, so why not give others a chance at life? :)

I have the sticker, and I think it's very important as well as generous.

If I'm in a terrible accident, I want others to have a chance at life. I'd rather them "steal" my organs when I still have a (exceedingly slim) chance than LOSE my chance to help several people in desperate need.

FYI, most doctors are extremely reputable people (they didn't get that degree to steal organs) and wouldn't just rip 'em out while you were struggling to regain consiousness.

Sorry if that last visual was upsetting... :P

Absolutely.
My best friend had a heart transplant in the 80's. She was one of the first ones and I will always be grateful for the extra 7 years we had with her because someone gave that gift of life.
We have a "Gift of Life, Organ Donor" license plate here in Nevada and I have one of those on my car too, in tribute to her and hoping that it will make someone else decide to donate.

no I am not a doner.

Yes, I think there is harm in it.

Some doc's get too aggressive about harvesting organs, and I don't want to be harvested if I am not quite dead.

I want as much effort as possible expended to keep me alive and not to have niggling concerns about .. well .. are his kidneys still hot and that heart is a good match for that millionaire now down a few beds.

as the organ trade gets hotter this has been getting worse.

I used to be a doner, and I used to think talk like this was silly - but not any more.
