CONSIDERING THE FACT THAT ADULTS NORMALLY GET 32 TEETH (WITH WISDOM TEETH, HAVING 5 CAVITIES IS NOT TERRIBLE. AT LEAST THESE WERE REPAIRED.
IF THESE WERE OF AVERAGE SIZE THEN YOU HAVE A VERY GOOD DENTIST.
IT ALL DEPENDS ON HOW CONFIDENT HE/SHE FEELS THAT THEY CAN BE COMPLETED WITHIN THE ALLOTED APPOINTMENT.DOING 5 IS VERY EFFICIENT USE OF TIME.

not really, specially if you tolerated the procedure well and didnt feel any pain, but the down part of this is you might feel sensitivity on that area for a couple days which is quite normal coz your tooth/teeth is adjusting with the filling that they put in there. if you dont feel this symptoms well i would say...thats a good job. one thing to consider since you had that 5 fillings done, it is better for you consider to put an extra time in taking care of your oral hygiene. i know you brush your teeth but brushing alone doesnt really help you fight cavities. flossing is also a best way to consider to have an effective oral hygiene.. brushing is mainly for your teeth to fight it from getting cavities and flossing is the one that helps your gums to stay healthy and not only that it will removed the food particles that left behind there that cant take by just brushing alone. if only i can show you how to do all of this is will.... but if you have more questions regarding this matter dont hesitate to ask your dentist and consult your matter... this way they can better assist you in heping you with your oral/dental concerns.. hope this piece of info from me help you. take care and keep smiling

Thats nothing I went to the dentist and I had 15 cavities, why drinking soda and going to sleep with out brushing my teeth, talk about a yuk mouth. Isn't that horrible. I can remember a saturday morning cartoon that taught dental care awareness. It showed a child that said owwwwwwwww my teeth hurt, Yeah cause youre a yuk mouth and you don't brush.

No, its is not that uncommon, you should brush your teeth twice a day and floss in the evening then you will avoid getting any more cavity's..at least you got them fixed, ignoring getting them fixed is very bad.

It IS a lot (ouch!)...but it does happen to people...how long ago was your last visit; what's your family's dental history...do you eat a lot of sugary things; brush at least 2wice a day, floss? Watch your teeth as best you can...you'll never be able to replace them...except w/false teeth...and you won't like that. Good luck!

I am no dentist, but it shows that you are not taking proper care of your teeth. You should really change those bad habits.
