We dont discredit the bible.....much of the Quran and Bible relate to eachother. But there are certain things that conflict. Same as the hadith. There are certain things that conflict with the Quran and so the Quran is given precedence over them. It says in the Quran that Muhammad (pbuh) was mentioned in the bible. That is why they believe that part may be correct. And again this is not to discredit the bible, I believe it was the book of God and I respect it. It just dont believe it is 100% accurate. you probably believe the Quran is 0% accurate. Nothing wrong with that, everyone has their own beliefs.

It is mentioned in the Qur'an, the people of the Books as the people who Allah has bestowed the Book to their respective Prophets. They are Zabur (Psalm?) to David, Torah (Old Testament) to Moses, Injil (Evangel) to Jesus and Qur'an to Muhammad. The bible that you have now has been edited or corrupted that it no longer resemble the Evangel the original Book. What Muslims respect are the original bible that was sent down by Allah not any other imposters.

Yes. Muslims believe in most of the bible up to Abraham, but believe that God's promised people descended from Ishmael and not Isaac (both sons of Abraham). Jews descend from Isaac. Christians believe that God's chosen people descend through Isaac, as well. As far as the New Testament is concerned, Muslims believe that Jesus was a prophet, not the Son of God. Most Muslims are actually ill-educated in their own holy book (Koran).

Maybe. Muslim have the quran where Mohamed is their Prophet. The used the quran as their guide in believing the name of their God as Allah while on Christian aspect we have the bible and our prophet is believe to be the Son of God and our Savior is Jesus. The name of our God is God, there is no such other name because according to God his name is plain God.Maybe their God as Allah is the same God of ours because they also called Allah as God

Muslims use the bible which they call corrupt to anounce their prophet making their god in agreemtn with corrupt scripture...makes no sense but neither does forskeing the true God to follow a false prophet that was never in agreement wiht God.

Yes. Like Mormons, they pretend to credit Scriptures as "authoritative" while denigrating their use in practice. They do this with Jesus, too.

"And when his disciples James and John saw this, they said, Lord, wilt thou that we command fire to come down from heaven, and consume them, even as Elias did? But he turned, and rebuked them, and said, Ye know not what manner of spirit ye are of" (Luke 9:54-55).

Try to get a Moslem to show the same forbearance Jesus did, tho they call Him a "prophet."
