By the time you are able to talk to him he will have another girlfriend. Right now you don't need a boyfriend, stay in school and worry about boys latter.
I know this girl who just turn 17, she has two girls. The first one is 3 years old and the other girl is 1 1/2. You do not want to be like her.

Well.. to start off, that isn't a question, honey, but I can tell yo ua few things... but you won't really like them...
1) 13 is a little young to have a boyfriend. I'm 14 and I can't date my boyfriend til i'm 18!! I sometimes wish i didn't go so fast, but we promised each other we'd have at least one date when we're 18 whether we still like each other or not.
2) long-distance relastionship do not work out. You can't hold a relastionship over a telephone anyway, or my IM. It simply won't work. Actions do far better than words, and if you can't see your boyfriend very often, then you might need to search for anew. Talking is the healthiest thign for a relationship, but so is some touch and some smiles shared and spiritual (not Jesus or anything) connection (by gazing into each other's eyes and similar).
3) if your parents won't let u talk to your BF on the phone, it's for the same reason that my parents won't let me date mine. It's not because they don't trust you, it is simply because they don't want u to grow up too fast. You don't need to get married right out of highschool. also, you need to spare those juicy moments a man whom you truly love, not a boy who may not end up your husband.

First of all how is he your boyfriend if he lives 50 miles away?? At the age of 13 you shouldn't be thinking about boyfriends you should have your focus on school and leave the guys for later, trust me there is plenty of time in your life for that later!!

use msn...set a time for both of you to come online and talk for a prescribed amount of time...will help you communicate everyday...and its much cheaper lol! (psstttttttt and you can also do a PC to PC call from many messengers such as msn or yahoo!...so u'll get to hear his voice...and webcam with him too! lol)

But...that said, you should really reconsider the whole long distance relationship thing...I mean you're only 13! I used to think I'd be with my gr8 bf forever...and then when we finally got together, we broke up in a month...so don't get too serious...go out there and have fun! =D

You are only 13. Concentrate on other things.
2 years seems like forever, but it will be gone and you will be 45 before you know it (and telling your 13 year old the same thing).

Good Luck & Enjoy your childhood!

I would agree with your parents that's too young to start that kind of relationship. You will appreciate their wisdom when you are older. Trust me on this one
