Ive seen this earlier, the Grand Prix has a similar administration unit because of the fact the chevy malibu, and that they are infamous for working sooner or later and not the subsequent. i'd verify the fuse first and then verify the potential getting into the resistor first. in case you have potential getting into try the cord popping out to the motor and on a similar time as checking have somebody turn the selector for blower speed and spot if the brightness of light adjustments at each and every place. If it does then it must be a bad Motor. yet whilst there is no potential to the resistor it fairly is in all possibility the administration head.

Sounds like you need a new motor and a new resistor board. both are located under the passenger dash. Just remove the insulated covers and you will see the motor. They are a pain in the butt to get out, but it isn't that hard. Once you have the motor out you will be able to see the resistor board at the back of the hole where the motor came out of. Take the connector and the two screws out and it will wiggle out quite easily with the motor out of the way. Good luck.

If it only works on 5 probably the resistor bad. The blower motor and resistor are under the pass side floor board. It probably would be best to have a proffesinal repair it, the resistor is a lttle tough on that.

sounds like you have two problems !! First with it only working on high speed that's that blower motor resistor . Second the motor making noise is the blower motor itself . Both are located in the foot well on the passengers front foot well . You have to take the hush panel down to see them. They are tough to get at and it may be worth your while to take it in to have it repaired rather than doing it yourself.
good luck hope I helped
