My mom's dog peed on the passenger's seat of my car quite a few months ago. I've cleaned it with carpet cleaner from the store and heavy duty grease remover at the carwash. It looks like it has gotten better, but it's not quite gone. What should I use for the best results? The seats are made of some sort of fabric much like a bed sheet, except tougher.

The thing that I have found the best to remove pet stains or odors is some enzyme based cleaner like nature's Miracle or something. They don't stain the material and they really do make the smell disappear. Good luck.

I've had experience using 'Urine Gone', which worked okay. But, I'd probably use something obviously without bleach on it. If you find a way to clean it, I think Baking Soda will help get rid of any bad smells that are left over.

Enzyme spray. Nature's Miracle is good but NOTHING beats Oreck's pet spray (especially for old stains). It's only available at Oreck stores (and maybe online).

White vinegar works miracles on any stain and the smell. My dog has accidents on the carpet every now and then, but you can't tell.
