Well, As an Arrowman myself I can tell you what goes on during the actual ordeal- but not the ceremonies.

You spend the night outdoors, usually under the stars with just a groundsheet (rain can change that),
You wake up for a small breakfast and get your work assignment for the day soon after. You aren't supposed to speak throughout all of this.
After the day of work, you go for the ceremony. It's not hard, you just have to stick with it.
