To those who believe that KJV is the only correct and true version to read, I was wondering, what would happen to those who read other version ? Do you consider them unsaved ? Lost ? or what ?

I use the KJV however, I also enjoy checking a number of scriptures using other versions. It is nice to be able to easily do so online. There are sites that make it very simple to do so. I do not know why anyone would really care which version that you use. I do know that I like the King James Version and have become accustomed to it. I also know Christians that like other versions. I do not like to stick with ONE INTERPRETATION without checking it out when I am writing or reading something and feel that it is important enough to be sure of. Have a great day and thanks for asking!

I was unaware that the KJV version is the only correct version. When was the version created 2000 years ago? The people that believe that KJV version is the only are ignorant and most likely believe in a Trinitirian misterious God, Hell and other pagan beliefs.

That was only translated about 200 years ago to get people to stop fighting over translating the bible. They were burned at the stake by religious fanatics if they tried to translate into English.
Then much better versions have been made that better tells what the bible was trying to say. But now they say the king James version is the best and want to burn people at the stake for reading anything but that version.
When you get a religious fanatics they think if that is what they like than kill anyone who disagrees. People grow up King James wasn't even a Christian, he just wanted to stop the killings.
It was great for its time, but some newer versions are fine.
Christians have a tendecy to be radical. Have you noticed?

I love the KJV .It's good to be familiar with because it is the most readily available all over the world, but God did not hand Moses a KJV from Mt.Sinai. It is great but so is the New KJV(sans Old English),The New American Standard and others but I would NOT recomend the NIV.Bad translators...Bad,bad!
You're only lost for rejecting Christ.God Bless Ya!

I consider them a Translation of a Translation.
You would just get a Little more Confused at Things.
But, if your Born-Again, you'll make Heaven, and Then all of the Errors you Accumulated down Here on the Earth Will Be Resolved!

When you get to Heaven We All will be Taught, and it will be a Whole Lot Easier to Learn up there too!
Hope this helps.

The KJV was a fine translation in its day, but the newer translations tend to be more accurate and easier to understand. And to the poster concerning the NIV translation being bad, the NIV is a very accurate, reliable translation.

you bring up a good topic first off Jesus only made one church not 1000 different denomiantions, Jesus said to Peter upon this rock i will build my church not "Different Churches!"....so what about different bibles...there should be only one bible but the problem is that we have christian people who have egos...The early church formed the bible around 300AD and the probem is the early church should of explained more things to us on some bible scriptures so the bible is not so vague on certain subjects.....you see people in history would rather serve themselves rather than God, they would rather serve idols such as israel in the OT, noone survived the Flood except Noah...so the same case is here too.....there are alot of verses and passages in the bible that are very explanatory such as the Christ saving us from Hell and giving us the opportunity to become better people and have happiness on this earth as well as heaven and many translation clearly point this out, as well as how to change our mindsets too such as overcoming lonliness or anger....we would not know that good info, if a bible was never written, but in my life i was stick to my Faith that is the thing that proves to you every day that your religon is true because it produces happiness in you "Sun"..if people are unsaved you will know right away their personalities will be the proff of that.

oh, foolish one.
why ask such a question...
there are so many versions and interpretations, how is one to understand the 'true" Word of God?
The KJV has been blessed by God since its induction. From my standpoint, there are too many "bibles" that have their own interpretation and standards.
Do they measure up to God's standards?
that is the question that needs answering.

Personally, I prefer the language of the NKJV, but there are many versions that accurately preserve the essential doctrines. What is important is not the "letter of the law" but the "Word that is living and active, useful in correction". Anyone who believes that they are saved by God's grace alone and not their own works is absolutely going to heaven.

They will find out the truth, not just the King James version.
