Forgive them for they know not what they do
My God, my God why have thou forsaken me.
It is finished.
The first two are scripture and Jesus fulfilled them, just as he did in the temple and many, many other places in the Gospels.
The last "it is finished" was Jesus declaring that the work that the Father gave him to do was finished.
Remember Mary for she anointed Jesus.

sorry Katie this is why i have problems with christians when they just quote scripture please remember that this scripture belongs to the whole bible....if you read Luke 23 you will see Jesus saids this right after they pierce his hand with spikes....Jesus was refering to the roman guards...these guards didnt know jesus they though he was a criminal not a man wrongly accused...so Jesus was saying a true statement but from a different point of view....
All Men are accountable for their Sins even Me too....God did not create robots he created human beings with a conscious and that are required to make a choice to accept Jesus or not.

So why is there still so much pain, hatred, blood shed, murder, starvation, poverty, wars, intolerance, racism, contempt, bigotry, hypocrisy and anger in the world? Why does 'god' ignore it all.
I do not want 'gods' forgiveness - and if 'god' exists, IT WILL NEVER BE GIVEN MY FORGIVENESS for it is a cruel and deceitful GOD!!
