i was told by a friend that mayo, egg and olive oil is a great moisturizer. but oil and egg is already in mayo so why do i have to double that? anyone else have another home deep-conditioning recipe?

Sometimes I use just mayo and it has egg protein and oils already in it, like you said, so it's still a really good conditioner, just make sure to use another conditioner right afterward because mayo doesnt make your hair smell very good :)

Also try a hot oil treatment with extra virgin olive oil, heat 1/4 cup for about 1o seconds in the microwave, out in your hair and cover with a plastic cap for 30 mins. Wash out with shampoo then condition...its awesome for your hair. The heat opens your hair follicle to let the oil in, so it's really shiny.

I tried using mayo once and it made my hair very sleek and it did not tangle at all ! leave the mayo on for 15 mins !!

agreed with the person above about Aussie, try their 3 Minute Miracle, it's amazing.. i love it.. but you don't use it every day, you only use it every now and then.

It was also on the news the other day that buttin beer in your hair makes it healthier, and opens up the hair folicule, and makes your hair shinier and softer. never tried it though.
