which one is worse: straightening your hair with an iron, or straightening it with a blow dryer?

i was just wondering which one is the best..and for blow drying your hair straight, should your hair be wet, damp, or dry? thanks

Blow drying is bad because you are usually brushing it at the same time, and the heat can make your hair dry and brittle, but flat irons also apply a lot more direct heat than blow dryers do. The damage done is about equal.

Try an ionizing dryer, they are pretty inexpensive and they arent that bad for your hair.

first of all neither of them are good and an iron is only good for clothes. A blow dryer dries your hair and you should use a starighting iron.

I'd think using an iron would be worse, it's direct heat to the hair..........

but then back my day they didn't have irons.

All my life I fought my curls to be straight,
now I fight my straight hair to curl.

go figure!
